Off-the-shelf display fits the product it was designed around and nothing else. Cut-to-size and fabricated acrylic lets the stand match what you are actually selling — the shelf pitch, the header height, the footprint on the counter you have to fit into.

What we make most often

• Counter risers and tiered stands, where the step height is set by the product rather than a stock size.
• Brochure and menu holders, in flat pack or bonded form.
• Display cases and covers, bonded from clear acrylic with polished edges.
• Sign holders, ticket strips and shelf talkers cut to a repeat size.
• Bases and plinths in coloured or opal acrylic where the product needs to sit above the counter line.

Laser-cut edges vs routed edges

A laser cut leaves a clear, flame-polished edge straight off the bed, which is why it suits display work where the edge is visible. The router handles thicker material and shapes the laser cannot take, and its edge can be polished as a finishing step. We will tell you which we would use for your part and why — they price differently.

Bonding, folding and forming

Flat parts become a finished product in the fabrication bay: solvent bonding for clear joins, line bending for folded holders and trays, and vacuum forming where a shape needs to be moulded rather than cut. That is the same floor, so a display does not have to be shipped between suppliers to get finished.

Sending artwork

Send a DXF for cut paths where you have one. If you do not, a dimensioned sketch is enough to quote from — tell us the material, the thickness and which edges are seen, and we will confirm the rest at quote stage.

Plastic Online is the online counter of Holland Plastics, a Gold Coast fabrication workshop. CNC routing, laser cutting, vacuum forming and plastic welding all happen on one floor, so the person cutting your part can read what you wrote rather than a summary of it.

We cut to ±0.1 mm. Tell us which dimensions are critical — and whether the tolerance has to hold across a stack of parts — and we will confirm that against your drawing at quote stage. A sawn panel, a routed profile and a laser-cut edge come off three different machines, so naming the critical dimension is worth more than assuming it.

Finished parts ship Australia-wide from the capital-city depot nearest you, not always from Queensland. There is no minimum order: one panel is a job.
