Yes. Polycarbonate is significantly stronger than acrylic - up to 250× stronger than glass and around 30× stronger than acrylic. It bends without cracking, absorbs impact, and performs well in harsh environments, making it the preferred material for high-risk or outdoor applications.

Our polycarbonate sheets come with a UV-protective layer that prevents yellowing, degradation, and brittleness. This makes them suitable for long-term outdoor use, even under intense sun exposure. UV-coated sheets last much longer than uncoated versions.

Polycarbonate sheets typically range from 1mm to 12mm for general use, with thicker options available for security and structural needs. Common colours include clear, opal and tint. Clear polycarbonate offers the highest light transmission, while tint and opal provide better glare control and privacy.
